Weight Below, Light Above

Yoga Academia Barcelona teaches presence, not just movement. Issa and Sol built the school around understanding: what muscle moves in each asana, why a counterpose exists, how the body prepares before the hardest moments.

An identity for a school like that had to come from the same place. Weight below, lightness above, the same tension found in a yoga class, translated into system: a firm base, an opening upward.

The palette was never invented. It came from the room itself, the mats, the textiles, the wood, the morning light. Blue holds structure. Mauve is what floats above it, the lightness, the flow.

Two typefaces carry the same tone: Cormorant Garamond for titles, a voice that pauses before it speaks. DM Sans for body text, a voice that explains calmly. The mark builds on a symbol the school already carried: a Ganesha silhouette, redesigned to live small, an avatar, a favicon, a symbol that recognizes itself over time. A protector, present at the start of new paths, the same role the school takes on for anyone who walks in.

The identity extends into a full rebuild of the school's website, carrying that same tension of ground and lift into every page.
